“Congratulations. I am pleased to see such environmental activism and concern on the part of young students. This bodes very well for the environmental future of India and the world in general.” -

 Dr. Kalliat T. Valsaraj,

"I was impressed by your passion of protecting the environment of your community at the China- India Association of Atmospheric Scientists conference in Delhi. I sincerely hope that the establishment of your club can be another important step to arouse the awareness of environmental protection in your college and beyond. I look forward to your update" - Regards,

   Dr. Yunhua Chang

Yale University- NUIST.

“Environment is an essential component of our planet and is indispensable for living organisms. In India, in recent times anthropogenic pollution has been a major threat to individuals of all age groups. As it is said 'There is no planet B' hence we must do every bit from our side to save our planet. I am overwhelmed to see such an initiative taken up by youngsters from HBTU, for creating awareness and educating individuals for protecting the ecosystem. The ill-effects of misusing the natural resources are evident and quite alarming, not only for India, but the entire world. I wish all the success for "Prithvi Protectors" and hope that many people get associated with it for the betterment of one and all”.

Best wishes,

Prof. Ashok Kumar

Endowed Chair Professor of Bioengineering

Department of Biological Sciences and Bioengineering,

Centre for Environmental Science & Engineering

“Congratulations on the founding of Prithvi Protectors. Clubs, such as yours, that promote environmental awareness will play an important role in addressing pollution issues in India.”

Dr. Philip Croteau

"It's a great pleasure to see the dynamic youngsters from HBTU are working on the protection of environment and the earth which is very much needed at the present situation. The development of new technologies is always welcome to shape the society of tomorrow, but we should not forget about the other environmental issues due to the overwhelming happiness for the new technologies. At this moment, every single and small steps are very crucial toward protection of the environment for the future generation; and I'm very happy to see that the youngsters have come forward to take the initiative for spreading the awareness by forming the "Prithvi Protectors" Club at HBTU. I wish all the members of the club a great success!"

Dr. Sankar Chakma

Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering

"I am extremely happy to know that you and your friends have formed an environmental club, named Prithvi Protectors. It is heartening to know this educated youngsters' group have taken up the responsibility of protecting the environment and earth as a whole. I am sure you will be spreading the awareness among the mass regarding the necessity of conserving the natural resources and minimizing the actions leading to pollution of our environment. You and your group have shown a great step ahead which is a good example for other youngsters to follow. Wish you all the best. " Regards,

Dr. P. M Ravi

"Please accept my best wishes for success in your endeavour.  It’s essential for students like yourselves to take direct action to raise awareness about environmental issues such as pollution and water security, more generally." Best regards,

Dr. Robert G. Varady

"Contamination of drinking water with various contaminants leads to the emergence of sources of drinking water and its shortage, especially in countries with hot climates. The decline in the general culture of consumption, misallocation also leads to the inability to preserve nature. Nature and human are closely related, but the influence on each other has different outcomes. Currently, all that we see - rivers, forests, lakes, fields, suffer from anthropogenic impact on them. I am very glad that environmental protection communities and groups of caring people are being created who decide to connect their lives with science and environmental assessment. And if there are more such groups around the world, perhaps people will be able to preserve nature in its original form."

Dr.  Anna  N. Berlina

Senior Research Scientist

Federal Research Center of Biotechnology

Russian Academy of Sciences, Russia.

“I am delighted and pleased that a group of young professionals has made this effort in developing environmental awareness. This is an important action and I wish you much success. The future are our youth - it is they who will pick up the burden and the sooner that they commence to act, as well as influence decision maker, the better it will be. Current trends globally are not optimistic - these need to be changed - every effort has to be made to reverse, or at least stabilize these trends. I wish you all success in your venture. Please do keep me informed of developments and with best wishes”
